Koster KB-Flex 200

Koster KB-Flex 200 is a permanent plastic sealing compound for pipes and cable penetrations. KB-Flex 200 does not dry out and remains permanently mouldable, perfect for custom detail waterproofing solutions against moisture and pressurised water.

Uses of Koster KB Flex 200

• Sealing inside pipes and cable penetrations
• Sealing voids between structures and pipe penetrations

How KB-Flex works:

Before use, warm the Koster KB Flex 200 by placing it in warm water max 40 °C for approx 15 minutes. This allows the material to have the ideal consistency for application.

The application area flanks must be thoroughly cleaned internally so they are free of dust, sand and other loose particles.

Waterproofing must be dimensioned so the ratio of the depth to width of material is 1.5:1 (The minimum depth should not be below 8 cm. The maximum diameter of the waterproofing is 300 mm).

Insert a standard 2C PU foam into the penetration depth corresponding to the installation depth. The material is pressed into the penetration from back to front. The sealing compound is recessed 1-5 cm from the wall surface and smoothed with a metal spatula. As an additional safeguard and to hold pipe/cable centred, the exposed material is covered with Koster KB-Fix 5.
