Injection Cream 80

Injection Cream 80 is an aqueous, solventfree injection cream with an active ingredient content of 80%. Injection Cream 80 is used as an injection agent to cure rising damp in masonry. Injection Cream 80 is designed for low pressure injection into boreholes positioned in the mortar joint. 

Due to Injection Cream 80's high strength it can be used to cure rising damp in masonry with high levels of moisture content (moisture saturation levels up to 95%). 

Injection Cream 80 Installation:

Injection Cream 80 is injected through boreholes in the mortar joint. The boreholes are usually placed at 150mm above ground height or at floor level if the internal surface if concrete.

Pour the Injection Cream 80 into the applicator container. The injection tube, which fits the diameter of the boreholes, is inserted as far as possible into the borehole. The boreholes should be evenly filled by slowly injecting the material into the borehole while pulling out the injection tube at the same time.

For practical purposes, the distance between boreholes should be 12 cm with a borehole diameter of 12 mm. The depth of the borehole should be the depth of the masonry minus approx. 2 cm. Before injecting, always remove drill dust from the boreholes first. The holes should be filled to within 2cm from the outside of the hole.

Once Injection Cream 80 has been installed, we suggest filling the end of the drill hole with a DPC Plug or mortar to avoid the evaporation of the active ingredient from the drill holes.
