Sump Pump for Foul Water

This Delta sump pump unit is designed to collect foul water in a basement where there are other facilities in the property that rely on gravity drainage. It can also be used in ground floor extensions.

The pumps are commonly used where basements are fitted with a toilet and/or a utility room. The 612SA foul vortex pump is able to deal with both foul water and grey water from showers and hand basins. The pump is designed to cope with solids, discharging foul water to a suitable drain.

Installation of Foul Water Sump Pump

The Foul V3 sump sits on a concrete base. Standard 110mm inlet pipes are connected along with a 50mm discharge pipe that runs from the chamber to a drain.

The chamber is filled with water to prevent flotation and back filled with concrete to lock it into structure.  

A double sealed manhole cover should be fitted in the final screed, providing access to the foul sump.

A full range of installation and maintenance instructions are supplied with each Delta V3 Foul Sump Unit. 

Note: This sump pump is not designed to collect groundwater - this should be managed separately by a standard dual sump pump.
