Delta Fire Retardant Fleece Tape

Delta Membrane Fleece Tape is designed to be directly applied onto Delta’s fire retardant membranes. It’s a flexible self-adhesive tape that allows the overlapping or sealing of membrane sheets whilst helping prevent the spread of fire. Its one-sided fleece provides a key for plastering or rendering and can be used on both walls and floors. 

The tape is made from butyl, meaning that it’s waterproof as well as fire retardant. As part of the Delta MS Fire Retardant range, this fleece tape makes limited contribution to the spread of fire. It is ideal for areas where no fire safety measures are installed. 

Available in a 220mmx20m roll. 

Applying Delta Fire Retardant Tape

Before applying Delta Fire Retardant Membrane Fleece Tape make sure the membrane surface is clean and dry.

Once the membranes are fixed to the wall with Delta Fire Retardant Ultra Fix Plugs, simply peel off the release paper and tape over the membrane sheets to seal any gaps or to butt joint the membranes together. 

When the membranes are secure on the surface, you can render or plaster directly onto the membrane and fleece tape.
